Cassandra & Tyler – Castle Hill Inn Wedding

I had the pleasure of photographing this gorgeous seaside wedding at Castle Hill Inn in Newport as a second photographer for Sara Smile Photography. Forbes named Castle Hill as “the most romantic retreat in New England”, and it’s easy to see why! It has that easy-going, beachy feel, combined with exquisite attention to detail and classic New England style. I just loved everything about the venue, and I was thrilled just to be spending the day there myself!

Cassandra and Tyler’s wedding took place on a gorgeous June day, with just enough sun and clouds to make for some stunning photographs. The weather was warm, but not too hot—a perfect day for an outdoor wedding overlooking the ocean!

I loved all of the details of their wedding, especially the flowers! Peonies have always been my favorites, and I thought the peachy-coral colored arrangements were so pretty!

Their guests seemed to be having a terrific time, too. Everyone was so happy and relaxed. They seemed genuinely thrilled to be celebrating Cassandra and Tyler’s big day, as was I. It’s hard to imagine a more picture-perfect Newport wedding!
